Welcome to North Chesthill Estate

North Chesthill Estate

North Chesthill Estate is a small family Estate run along traditional lines. Our core activities are sheep and cattle farming, red (and some roe deer) open hill stalking, salmon and trout fishing, which combine together throughout the year to provide a sustainable programme here in the highlands.

Conservation is at the very heart of the  Estates beliefs. We provide support to two University led research projects associated with open hill deer research and salmon stock levels in the River Lyon.

The annual deer management programme commences in late August through to late October. The public are asked not to disturb the hills on the north side of the glen above Invervar during this short period. Deer Management Notices are displayed during this period when management operations are underway.

New Car Parking Restrictions have been introduced and are enforced.

A well appointed two / three bedroomed cottage should be available for lease in April 2024.
