Events Management – Clay Pigeon Shooting and Country Pursuits

The Estate majors on providing tuition in shooting Clay Targets. We have an extensive sporting layout providing combinations for all levels of shooting and tuition. Whilst we specialise in tutoring the beginner, we also challenge the experienced shot. Visitors to the shooting ground include families and young people, holiday visitors, hen and stag parties and corporate clients. Additional ‘in house’ events, such as Rifle Shooting, Argocat 4x 4 Familiarisation and Skills course and Fishing Tuition or a combination of several will make for a half day or a full day activity.

Catering can be arranged. Other events, such as Quads, Archery, Hawk & Owl Demonstrations can be arranged on the Estate. Early booking is advised.

Country Sports

Chesthill offers a range of county sports in season:

Salmon and Brown Trout Fishing ( April – October)
Woodland Roe Deer Stalking ( throughout the year)
Open Hill Red Deer Stalking ( June – February)

Nature Watch and Hill Visits

In addition we can arrange hill trips, either walking or by Argocat to view deer and other wildlife, to look at the spectacular scenery out to Glencoe and up Glenlyon or just simply to have a picnic at our hill bothy. Alternatively we can provide roe deer, badger and other wildlife watching in the evenings. Half day hill trips are available. We are keen to further develop this education programme.

There is no accommodation on the estate, but there is plenty of accommodation in the local Aberfeldy area within short driving distances, ranging from:
